Architect: William Deane Butler
Interior Access
A fine symmetrical building by William Deane Butler. It was originally built as a market house and the ground floor is arcaded, although the openings have now been filled in with glazing. The construction of the building took place between summer 1841 and spring 1845. The date 1843 can be seen in the wrought iron work on the building, and also the letters T.L., the initials of the then landlord Thomas Lennard.
