3 Gold Medals
for Clones gymnasts at county finals
On Saturday 26th May gymnastics county final was held in Scotstown. Clones gymnasts did very well.
Carol Gibson got gold medal in U-10s. Floor score 8.2
Shannon Hughes got gold medal in U-14s. Floor score 7.6, Vault score 8.4
Adam Macklin got gold medal in U-16s. Floor score 8.7, Vault score 9.3
Also Fionuala wilson who came 4th under 12yrs.
All gymnasts are part of killeevan Gymnastics Club.
Carol, Shannon and Adam performed outstanding routines with great scores. They now go forward to Mosney National Finals in August to represent their County and Club. Clones Community Games wish all 3 gymnasts good luck in Mosney. Well done.
Area athletics competition
Clones Community Games will be holding their area athletics competition on Wednesday 23rd May in Coyles field at 6pm.
This competition is open to all children who reside in the Clones area.
